Canvas
Give the Gift of Canvas
For holidays, birthdays or just because, canvas is a beautiful and thoughtful gift to give anyone. Whether you’re on the market for a gift to give to someone you care about or if you’re a photographer looking to broaden what you offer your clients. Our canvas is certified archival and smooth
Types of Canvas
Canvas can be displayed in all types of manners, how you choose to exhibit your canvas print is up to you and your personal style, and here we’ll break down the options you have.
Wrapped Canvas- Canvas stretched over bars is the ideal choice if you want to hang your canvas without a frame. We can affix saw tooth hooks to the back or you can attach a nail or hook to your wall to hang from the bars themselves. We have two sizes of bars to stretch canvas over: 3/4 inch bars, as the top image to the right shows, and bolder 1 and 1/2 inch bars, which look better with very large prints.
Mounted Canvas- Canvas can be mounted to a sturdy foam board just like photo prints, as you can see in the image on the bottom. We wrap the canvas print tightly over a board with an adhesive backing. This option is perfect for those who enjoy displaying their prints within a frame. Mounted canvas can be put in a frame without glass, showcasing the beautiful texture of our archival canvas.
Types of Wraps
If you choose the stretched canvas option, you will have varying wrap options to choose from.
Museum Wrap- As shown to the left, museum wraps use the entire image to wrap around the wooden bars for a 3 dimensional look. This is one of the most popular choices.
Mirror Wrap- If you like the idea of a mirror wrap but just don’t want to lose any image on the front, mirroring the edges will allow the sides of the canvas to maintain the image wrap look without sacrificing any of the image to do so.
Black or White Wraps- This is simply when a solid color, black or white typically, is used along the sides of the image. This can be used to create a very specific look to a collection of pieces displayed together.
